Linking Camps and Campers Since 1995
At ABQ BioPark, Camp BioPark sparks children’s interest in nature through engaging, age-specific camps designed for grades K through 9. Each camp session blends science education with interactive activities—including hands-on projects, games, and arts—and opportunities to explore local flora and fauna. Campers participate in guided tours to observe animals and plants up close, complemented by crafts and quiet study or reflection times. The camp structure ranges from half-day morning sessions for younger children (grades K-3) to full-day immersive experiences for older campers (grades 4-9). Weekly themes and curriculum repeat throughout the summer, allowing families to select appropriate weeks and classes to suit their child’s interests and developmental stage. Full-day camps include behind-the-scenes visits and talks by staff, enriching the learning environment. Overall, Camp BioPark provides a fun, educational outdoor experience fostering a deeper understanding and appreciation of nature and science in a supportive setting.
