Journalism and Visual Storytelling Workshop
PITTSBURGH Pennsylvania
Get a taste of your career-to-be at our Summer High School Journalism workshop.
This year’s focus will be on visual storytelling. Learn to tell stories through video and photography while meeting practicing media professionals. By the end of the session, we will create a show with all of the visual content created to premiere it at a closing reception. This show will then air on the campus television station’s website!
Additionally, you will have the opportunity to tour some of Pittsburgh’s best venues. Previously, students have visited PNC Park, the Washington Wild Things, PPG Paints Arena, Stage AE and even attended a live taping at KDKA-TV.
Plus, you’ll get to soak up Point Park University’s urban campus, while participating in fun and exciting activities around Downtown Pittsburgh!
