Experience Your Environment!

The Audubon Center of the North Woods (ACNW) offers a variety of youth camps that have a focus on wildlife, nature, challenge and outdoor skills. Experience the great outdoors and make memories that last a lifetime! ACNW is located on Grindstone Lake, near Sandstone, MN – about 90 miles north of Minneapolis/St. Paul.

All of our camps are overnight, residential camps with indoor lodging. ACNW provides great accommodations, wonderful scratch-based meal service, a top-notch, experienced staff, and engaging activities to provide one of the best outdoor camp experiences around.

ACNW has been committed to providing environmental and outdoor education experiences to all ages since 1971. Our programs connect people with the outdoors with a focus on developing environmental understanding, ethics and responsibility through experiences that link nature and humans. We are accredited by the North Central Association Commission on Accreditation and School Improvement (NCA CASI) and offer residential environmental & outdoor educational experiences to K12 youth, families, college students & adults, as well as youth summer camps.

Need-based partial scholarships are available.
