The Wediko Summer Program is a co-ed 45-day therapeutic residential program for children ages 9-19 who struggle socially, emotionally, and behaviorally. Wediko offers a unique opportunity for children to get intensive adult support as they learn, explore, and discover new skills in an outdoor setting. We have over 80 years of working with children who struggle with ADHD, Anxiety, Depression, Learning Disabilities, Social Skills Deficits including those from Spectrum Disorders and Non-Verbal Learning Disabilities, Mood Disorder, Special Needs Adoptions, and Attachment Disorders. The Summer Program is located on a picturesque 450-acre lakefront campus in Windsor, New Hampshire, providing a serene backdrop for daily activities. We also include academics, daily group therapy, and family engagement in our program. We create an environment where children can bring who they are, learn skills, and celebrate their successes!

Therapeutic Milieu Students have the benefit of clinicians who work with them every day "in-the-moment," within the context of daily life.

Therapeutic Cabin Groups Each child's cabin group is formed with intentionality and designed to replicate an extended family system, offering a never ending stream of corrective interaction experiences.

Pre-Vocational Program Wediko's "Pre-Voc" Program provides a structured and supportive work environment for students (13-19) to develop job skills and behaviors to prepare them for successful community employment.

Cognitive Behavioral Checklists A cornerstone of the Wediko Summer Program is the structured interviews prompting students to reflect upon their behavior.

Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS) Wediko Summer Program utilizes a structured system of positive behavior support across all aspects of the program.

Academic Instruction Wediko Summer Program students participate in ten hours of classroom-based academics per week, as well as limitless exploration of our ecologically rich campus.

Nonviolent Crisis Intervention Wediko staff are trained collectively in helping students to build emotion regulation and de-escalation skills.

Family Systems Approach The Wediko Summer Program includes a Family Program facilitated by clinicians who provide individualized support using psychoeducational and practical approaches to engage with parents and build skills.
