The nation's first on-camera acting program developed for teens (ages 13-15, 16-20). Established in 1978. ACTeen is Backstage Newspaper’s 2010 Reader’s Choice Award Winner for “Favorite Acting Classes for Teens.” June, July, August, or Saturday summer academies offer full or part-time curriculum. 16+ electives, including film & television acting, theater, musical theater, auditioning, Shakespeare, improvisation, voiceovers, speech & voice, movement, script writing, industry guests, and college/career/monologue coaching. Professional adult instructors from major acting conservatories teach in seven multi-camera, air-conditioned studios. Working grads, small classes (12 maximum per workshop).
