NO LANYARDS MADE HERE. We offer two unique “total-art-immersion” programs for kids ages 14-16 who LOVE ART! At Oxbow, we believe there’s no limit to what kids can create given professional instruction in an inspiring, non-competitive and nurturing environment. Campers are encouraged to experiment, to seek out their own artistic interests, and learn at their own pace while being challenged to broaden their horizons. They learn respect: for oneself and others, for art, and for the world around them; they gain self-confidence; they form lifelong friendships with like-hearted campers; and have lots of fun. "Serious Art, Serious Fun" includes: painting, drawing, sculpture, photography and computer arts. "More Art, More Fun" adds instruction in comic and children’s bookmaking, animation and digital filmmaking. No portfolios, or previous art training needed—just the desire to dive in, take risks, and see what happens.
