College Experience Camps
July 11-17, 2010
Open to students entering 9th through 12th grade in fall 2010.
Explore aviation, finance, creative writing or robotics. Robotics camp is open to rising elementary through high school aged students. College credit available for students who are going into 11th or 12th grade!
Camp Great Salt Lake
July 12-17, 2010
Great Salt Lake Institute invites you to spend a few days as a scientist examining this extreme environment. Get wet and get salt in this inland sea exploration as you investigate the extreme science and environment behind Utah’s natural treasure, the Great Salt Lake. Camp Great Salt Lake is open to 15 rising high school juniors or seniors, and five high school teachers.
Outdoor Recreation Camp
July 11-17, 2010
Join us for a week of fantastic outdoor adventures including rock climbing, hiking, backpacking, and kayaking. You will learn the basics of climbing at the college's indoor wall and then head to the Cottonwood Canyons to experience our world famous rock climbing. Hike up to beautiful Red Pine Lake, kayak the mighty Weber River in Ogden, and spend the night under the stars in the Uinta Mountains
