Tennessee PGA Junior Golf Academy
The Tennessee PGA Junior Golf Academy began in 1973 and has over 8000 graduates including recent PGA Champion, Shaun Micheel. In 1995, Golf House Tennessee opened its doors and the Academy moved to its new home with specifically designed dormitories, cafeteria, short course and teaching facilities. The instructors are PGA and LPGA professionals and college coaches who emphasize both teaching and playing skills. Students spend each day in lessons which include full swing, short game, rules, course management, video, and they play on the adjacent Legends Club of Tennessee courses. Campers arrive on Sunday afternoon and stay through Friday morning. Camps include boys only, girls only and co-ed as well as some advanced camps. Day programs available too.
