Idol Camp is the first official   American Idol performing arts summer camp for kids between the ages of 12 and 15. Develop your talents in an exciting, fun-filled, non-competitive environment.
Idol Camp is the first "official" American Idol performing arts summer camp for kids between the ages of 12 and 15. Located in the New England town of Northfield, Massachusetts on a private 300-acre campus.
Idol Camp offers a well-rounded curriculum designed to foster passion and creativity in a fun-filled, non-competitive environment. Creaate your own schedule by choosing from classes in singing, dancing, acting, song writing, audition and performance techniques, personal style, video production, set design and more.
Instruction will be provided by respected professionals, with special master classes featuring guest artists such as favorite former American Idol contestants, recording artists, and other top industry professionals.
Traditional camp activities are also included such as swimming and team sports. And each evening will bring the entire camp together for fun events, including the final camp performance.
Enrollment is based on applicants displaying a desire for personal growth and passion for the arts. Enrollment is open to kids ages 12-15 who are residents of the U.S and Idol Camp honors a diverse cross-section of educational backgrounds and opportunities.
Session Dates:
July 7-16, July 21-30, August 4-13 and August 18-27.
The deadline for applications is April 18th, 2007.
The camp is tuition-based with a certain percentage of fully-paid scholarships awarded based on financial need.
