The most unique part of Camp Grady Spruce is that we are made up of 3 camps which allow us to better serve Boys 7-12, Girls 7-12 and Teens as individuals. By surrounding each camper with kids his or her age and skill level, we are able to better customize programs to fit your son or daughter. All three camps offer similar activities such as water skiing, wakeboarding, sailing, riflery and horses. Each program has the opportunity to progress to more challenging levels.
Camp Activities: Archery • Arts and Crafts • Hiking • Horseback Riding • Leadership • Riflery • Rocketry • Sailing • Swimming • Wake Boarding • Water Skiing • Water Sports • YMCA
Main Camp
We understand the feelings and needs of boys at Main Camp. An all-boy environment frees our campers to focus on exhilarating outdoor fun while they excel in physical challenges. Adventurous programs take place in a safe setting, supervised by well-trained counselors. Respect for others and good citizenship are valued in our camp community where caring and responsibility are demonstrated by our professional staff. The boys stay in air-conditioned cabins. Platform tents are available for sleep outs on camp.
Ray Bean Camp
At Ray Bean we immerse girls in a nurturing community without social pressure. We help girls discover who they are and empower them to stay true to themselves in an ever-changing world. Through laughter, adventure, friendship, and struggle, we create bonds that say, “I believe in YOU!” The positive impact of this culture is not just a summertime event, it is making history in your child’s life.
FRONTIER CAMP
We know the joys and demands of working with teenagers. We have created a relaxed yet structured community without the peer pressures of everyday teen life. Thirteen to sixteen year-olds thrive in the exciting atmosphere at Frontier Camp. In a co-ed environment, programs such as the challenge course and the Ragger Program give campers an opportunity to take risks, set personal goals, and push themselves to new heights (literally) in a safe and supervised community.
