Winston Preparatory Summer Enrichment Program
The Winston Preparatory Summer Enrichment Program provides students with the unique opportunity to participate in an individually designed program aimed to enhance academic skills. Students receive daily, one-on-one instructional sessions in class sizes no larger than 12 individuals to further address areas of greatest challenge. The WPS Summer Enrichment program is designed to develop language, writing, encoding/decoding, reading comprehension, math, test preparation, time management and organizational skills. At the conclusion of the summer session, families receive an individualized written report for each class. In addition, a parent conference is scheduled with the student's collaborative teaching team to discuss academic gains, beneficial strategies and individualized student learning profiles. Following the day camp we also offer an afterschool program for an additional fee featuring a variety of activities including digital photography, basketball, yoga, judo, fun & fitness, modern sculpture, comtemporary dance, art, acting and socialization and communication.
