Acadia Institute of Oceanography
The Acadia Institute of Oceanography is located in the coastal town of Seal Harbor, Maine next door to Acadia National Park. Our hands-on programs introduce students to the physical, chemical and biological aspects of oceanography through work with salt water tanks, on board boat and in the field. Successful graduates of the summer programs can apply to attend one of our tropical winter programs (advanced sessions only) or our winter Career Seminar in Florida.
